Twenty-Three Master’s Students of Psychology at UNY Declared Graduates in the January 2026 Graduation Adjudication

Yogyakarta, 30 January 2026 — The Master’s Program in Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) graduated 23 students in the January 2026 Graduation Adjudication (Yudisium), which was held on Thursday (30/1) at Abdullah Sigit Hall, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY. This adjudication served as a significant academic milestone, marking the completion of all academic requirements at the master’s level in psychology.

All adjudicated students were declared to have fulfilled the academic and administrative requirements in accordance with applicable regulations. The graduates of the Master’s Program in Psychology at UNY are scheduled to participate in the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Graduation Ceremony for the February 2026 period.

The adjudication ceremony commenced with the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and the UNY Hymn, symbolizing respect for national values and the institution’s identity. The event then proceeded with the reading of the Dean’s Decree of the Faculty of Psychology UNY regarding the official determination of graduate status.

Entering the main agenda, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Alumni, Research, and Cooperation of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Suwarjo, M.Si., delivered the Graduation Adjudication Report for the Master’s Program in Psychology. The report comprehensively presented the number of graduates, students’ academic achievements—including those who attained the cum laude distinction—as well as an overview of the length of study undertaken by students throughout their master’s education in psychology.

The presentation of the adjudication report reflected the commitment of the Master’s Program in Psychology at UNY to maintaining academic quality, strengthening scholarly competence, and developing graduates’ capacities to contribute effectively in both academic settings and professional psychological practice.

The event continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Siti Rohmah Nurhayati, M.Si., who conveyed her congratulations and appreciation to the graduates for their academic accomplishments. She also expressed her hope that graduates of the Master’s Program in Psychology at UNY would be able to serve as academics and psychology practitioners who are competent, uphold integrity, and remain adaptive to the evolving dynamics and challenges of the discipline.

The adjudication concluded with the formal conferment of the Graduation Adjudication Decree to the participants as an official symbol of graduation, followed by a prayer session and a group photo session, marking the end of an important academic phase and the beginning of graduates’ contributions to society as professionals in the field of psychology.
