Master’s Program in Psychology UNY

The Master’s Program in Psychology at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta develops a range of flagship programs oriented toward strengthening the academic atmosphere, promoting internationalization, and enhancing students’ career readiness through sustainable collaborative, scholarly, and applied academic activities.

Visiting Professor (Inbound)

The Inbound Visiting Professor Program invites professors and scholars from international partner universities to actively participate in teaching activities, scholarly discussions, academic seminars, and collaborative research initiatives. This program aims to broaden students’ global perspectives and enhance the quality of learning in accordance with international academic standards.

Visiting Professor (Outbound)

The Outbound Visiting Professor Program involves the assignment of faculty members of the Master’s Program in Psychology, UNY, as visiting lecturers at national and international partner institutions. This program focuses on strengthening academic collaboration, curriculum development, and expanding the global academic network of the study program.

Pre-Graduation Career Guidance

Pre-graduation career guidance is organized as an intensive mentoring program for students approaching graduation. The activities include mapping students’ interests and competencies, introducing career prospects for psychology graduates, providing training in professional CV and portfolio preparation, and equipping students with the readiness to enter the world of work and professional practice.

Public Lecture

Public lectures are conducted on a regular basis by inviting distinguished scholars, practitioners, and academics in the field of psychology. These activities aim to enrich students’ understanding of contemporary developments in psychological science and practice, while strengthening applied and scholarly academic discourse.
